In case you haven’t heard: It’s Peach Season. So basically put peaches on everything or you’re pretty much missing out.
That includes your oven baked chicken wings people, so get all the peaches you can, cook those babies down, and glaze some wings!
Currently on the way Napa, and am dying of excitement. It’s the third time I’ve gone. If you’ve never got to experience the wine fields, you have to make it a bucket list item. The views are breathtaking, the weather is amazing, and the wine…. duh. It’s basically my life’s goal to retire in a wine field and live off wine and cheese. Goals are goals, okay? The occasion you ask? Oh just my bestie’s dirty thirty. So that’s exciting … and a little crazy that we are all reaching the next decade of our life. But I hear your 30’s are better than your 20’s because you’ve started to figure out that you know nothing, and that’s okay. So anyways-sorry for the rabbit hole- woo hoo Napa, we are coming in hot.
Okay, about these Peach Jalapeno Oven Baked Wings
I’m so sorry but if I don’t have you at Peach Jalapeno Oven Baked Wings- I can’t even. The flavor profile of these babies are enough win you over, but then the fact that they are baked until crispy makes it that much better.

Peach Jalapeno Oven Baked Wings
Ingredients
- Peach Jalapeno Glaze:
- 4 Peaches, pits removed and chopped into small pieces
- 1 Jalepeno, diced (remove seeds if you don't like it too spicy)
- 1 tbsp Lemon/Lime Juice
- 1/4 Cup Agave Nectar/Honey/Sugar
- Water as needed
- Wings:
- 1.5-2 Pounds of Wings
- Olive Oil or Ghee
- Optional: Ranch or Blue Cheese dressing, I used a Greek Yogurt Blue Cheese Dressing
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
Preheat Oven to 400 Degrees
Line baking sheet with aluminum foil
Toss Chicken in Olive oil and salt and pepper and place on baking sheet
Once oven is heated cook on one side for 30 minutes
Flip wings and cook for an additional 30 minutes or until crispy
While Chicken is cooking:
Add 1/2 cup water, peaches, jalapeno, lemon juice, sweetener of choice to medium sized pot
Cook on medium while stirring
Add water as needed you want it to be a jelly/glaze consistency, if you accidentally add too much water you can always just cook it out by stirring and continuing to cook
The peaches will begin to break down, to help facilitate this I used an avocado masher as well as a wooden spoon
Continue stirring and cooking until you have a glaze, this will take 45-60 min
After chicken and glaze are complete, put about 4-5 wings at a time in a mixing bowl and toss wings in peach glaze
Repeat process with remainder of the wings
Serve with Dressing of Choice and Enjoy!
