This Baked Chocolate Donut Recipe gets ya right in that sweet spot without the guilt!
I don’t know about you, but my goodness have I been craving sweets! This is definitely account of being home and basically, I have been a chocolate hound. There is no stopping me. Given the current baking situation, we have lots of time for chocolate sweets! And that’s where this grain-free baked chocolate donut recipe came about. And yes, this is a paleo donut recipe.
The secret to making grain-free anything, whether it be pancakes, muffins, breads or even this baked chocolate donut recipe- in my humble opinion, is mixing up those grain free flours. You see if you use just one flour, it tends to be too dense. Which is why a nice blend makes the texture amazing. In this recipe, I used a mixture of almond flour, coconut flour, and tapioca powder. Those grain-free flours and using maple syrup as the sweetener, makes this the perfect paleo dount recipe
The Result? Little Cakey Bites of Glorious Donut-ness

In a medium mixing bowl add all dry ingredients (almond flour, coconut flour, coco powder, tapioca powder, cassava flour, baking powder, and salt) using a whisk stir to incorporate ingredients
In a small mixing bowl add beaten eggs, coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla, and milk. Whisk to combine
Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients using a spatula until combined and uniform
Add mix to piping bag and pipe donut mix into mats, make sure to only fill 3/4 of the way full otherwise it will expand too much when it is being baked

Chocolate Ganache:
Complete after donuts are done baking
Add chocolate chips to microwaveable bowl
Microwave for 30 second at a time removing and stirring
Repeat until all chocolate is melted
