Okay Okay Okay, you are going to DIE over this Apple Cinnamon Blondie Bake.
First things first, this blondie bake has NOTHING healthy about it. Well unless you count the whole “apple a day keeps the doctor away” scenario. In that case, we could say definite health food situation going on in this cast iron skillet. But no matter, bookmark this bad little baby because you are going to BLOW some peoples minds with this recipe.
Okay so the original idea for this apple cinnamon blondie bake came up because honestly anything apple cinnamon is right up my alley. It’s one of my favorite pairings. I did grow up with apple sauce and cinnamon as one of my go-to desserts, so yeah. Any who, I LOVE IT. But the cinnamon apple then paired with the blondie bake. GAME OVER. So much Ooeey- Gooey perfectness.
This recipe is based off Bon Appetit’s Gooey Brown Butter Blondies with Pecans, but with a Fall twist!
This recipe might be a bit intensive, but it is definitely worth it! You basically make two different blondie batters. One with all the Fall flavors of Apples and walnuts mixed in. The other batter is made with a beautiful brown butter. Paired together is like the ultimate fall dessert! The best way to serve this baby is warm with some with some ice cream scooped of the top. SO GOOD!
