It has been one hot minute since I have done a breaky post, and for that I am sorry. But I’m back with this Greek Jammy Egg Flatbread and man, is this a gem of a recipe!
It’s no secret that I have a love affair with eggs. All Eggs really. Scrambled, sunny side up, over easy, and one of my favs… jammy. Jammy eggs are accomplished by cooking eggs just as you would for hardboiled eggs, you just don’t cook them as long and Voilà, cut one of your eggies open and you have perfect jammy eggs.
Because I’m one for convenience, I use the Dash Egg Cooker to make them perfect every time. But if you don’t have one of those bad boys feel free to use the below method.
How to make Jammy Eggs like a pro:
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and carefully lower eggs in using a slotted spoon
- Cook for 6 1/2 to 7 minutes
- Remove eggs and place into an icebath
- Allow to cool for 8 minutes
- Peel those babies!
Making the eggs is probably the only real element of cooking in this Greek Jammy Egg Flatbread recipe- making it a stress free candidate for brunch!
I hope you all enjoy!
