Okay so, like the name of this Almond Stone Fruit Crumble implies, you can truly use any stone fruit. Stone fruit is a group of fruit that contain pits. So think apricots, peaches, plums, cherries…. you get the idea. I used a mix of plums and peaches and ooooo it was the business.
You can eat this Almond Stone Fruit Crumble as is, but whip up some whipped cream or serve with ice cream and bon appetit! Tart and sweet this is definitely your new summer treat!

Almond Stone Fruit Crumble
Nothing says summer sweet like this Almond Stone Fruit Crumble. Tart and sweet, it's the perfect summer dessert!
Ingredients
- Stone Fruit Filling:
- 2 lbs Stone Fruit of choice, sliced (peaches, plums, cherries, nectarines, apricot)
- 2/3 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tsp Almond Extract
- 1/4 cup Corn Starch
- Crumble:
- 3/4 cup Flour
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Slivered Almonds
- 1/4 Oats
- 1/2 tsp Almond Extract
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 8 oz Cold Butter, diced
Instructions
Preheat Oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, add all Stone Fruit Filling ingredients to a bowl and mix until combined. Set aside.
In another bowl, add flour, brown sugar, oats, slivered almonds, almond extract, salt, cinnamon, and baking powder to a bowl. Whisk together. Add in diced cold butter. Using hands, massage butter in crumble mix until sandy texture.
In a pie dish add in the filling ingredients. Top with the crumble. Bake in oven for 45-50 minutes. You want the fruit filling to be bubbling.
